TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to R C Allen, Assistant Secretary, Toronto University Library Restoration Committee, 13 King's Bench Walk, Temple
Date17 November 1890
DescriptionThe volumes of the Royal Society's publications go from a different department and are under the charge of a differnt clerk from the duplicate volumes of library books. For the latter they have Allen's receipt but for the former the Royal Society's clerk neglected to take a receipt. He did however make an entry in their books of what he sent. Rix hears from Toronoto that there were a number of cases not yet unpacked and Rix has little doubt that the volumes in question are in some of the unpacked cases.
