TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to Professor Michael Foster
Date17 November 1890
DescriptionRix discusses the problem of obtaining the right information regarding medal recipients and he thinks that the proposer ought always to furnish the name and addresses of recipients. There was a 'terrible fight' regarding Hertz as they discovered there was another H Hertz who writes on the same subjects. Regarding Fischer they did not, as Foster seems to think, confuse Emil and Otto. Emil was at Erlangen and was afterwards transferred to Würzburg, and Otto who was formerly at Munich took his place.
