TitleCopy letter from Herbert Rix, to James Whitbread Lee Glaisher, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date21 November 1890
DescriptionRix wonders if Glaisher can suggest some mathematician who would be willing to select those papers from journals of 'doubtful type' which are suitable to be entered in the 'catalogue of scientific papers'. The Society proposes to pay four shillings an hour for this work. The work is such as can only be done by a scientific man and the Royal Society's own copyists will do the transcribing. The matter is rather pressing.
