TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to D Cockerell
Date26 April 1909
DescriptionHarrison is content to leave to Cockerell's judgement, the extent to which the older parts of Royal Society binding is preserved. Some of the Journal books Harrison sent the other day will require entire rebinding but he hopes that Cockerell will not put the stamp on the bottom of any more of these. The Royal Society do not set particular store on preserving the 'Surrey Institution stamp' on the sides of part of the older set of the Philosophical Transactions, so there is no arguments for preserving sides which would otherwise be better renewed.
