Description'Dear Sir,
Your letter of March 18 was laid before the President and Council at their meeting last week, when leave was given to the Royal Astronomical Society to reprint in the Month Notices abstracts of paper of astronomical interest appear in the Royal Society's brief weekly summaries of papers read before the Society; or such other abstracts as the authors may supply.
Leave was also give to your Society to reprint in the Monthly notices on the Note of Mathematical Printing from the Proceedings of the Royal Society, Series A 551.'
