TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to F A Talbot, 15 Wilbury Crescent, Hover, Sussex
Date25 March 1909
Description'Dear Sir,
In reply to your enquiry as to reproducing in the 'Scientific American' the views of Auroras from the volumes of the Reports of the National Antarctic Expedition, I am directed by the President to say that you are quite at liberty to do so, if you will carefully quote the source, and state that they are reproduced by permission of the Royal Society of London.
As to obtaining copies of the plates I fear you can only do as other journals have done, viz. reproduce them from the volumes themselves. The volumes are all on sale, besides being accessible at many public libraries.'
