DescriptionDr Larmor has asked Harrison to write to Schuster on the subject of the admission of the Royal Irish Academy and the Royal Society of Edinburgh after receiving correspondecne from the latter. Larmor's recollection is that the matter was shelved after some conversation and it was felt there might be difficulties with other countries if the United Kingdom had such large representation and because of possible claims of colonial societies to be included.
Harrison asks if this is correct and if anything has changed over the two years,
