Professor [Joseoh] Larmor thinks it would be desirable to hold a meeting of the Physics and Chemistry Sectional Committee, to clear up any outstanding business, before the last meeting of the Council of July 8th, and he has asked me to write to you to enquire whether it would be convenient to you to have a meeting of the Committee on Thursday, July 1st, at 4 o'clock. If July 1st in inconvenient for you would you please let me know of some other date, not later than July 1st, on which you would be free to attend a meeting of the Committee.'
