Description'Sir,
With further reference to your letter of July 5th, enclosing correspondence relating to a project scheme of entomological research in Africa, I am directed by the President to say that the Royal Society is willing that Dr [John] Rose Bradford, on of the Secretaries of the Society, should become a member of the Committee of Management.
Dr Bradford has intimated his readiness to attend the first meeting of the Committee on the 15th instant.'
