TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to A [Arthur] E [Everett] Shipley
Date19 July 1909
Description'Dear Mr Shipley,
As promised I send you a line with reference to the action taken by the Botany Committee this afternoon on the paper by Mr Drew, communicated by yourself. The Committee could not see their way to recommend the paper for publication in the Philosophical Transactions but were willing to recommend it for the Proceedings, subject to modifications being made in accordance with the suggestions of the referees.
At the meeting this afternoon a quorum was not present, so the Minutes will have to be circulated to the Committee for approval; so soon as they are approved I will write to you officially and send you copies of the referees' remarks for communicated on to the author.'
