TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor A [Arthur] Schuster FRS
Date22 July 1909
Description'Dear Professor Schuster,
In the corrected proof of Dr Simpson's Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society] paper, which you kindly corrected, Sir Joseph Larmor desires me to mention that he does not think it worth the expense to enlarge the lettering of the figures. Though very small, the letters are still legible and will be clearer in the published edition. The original drawings were well done and the letters well drawn, but unfortunately not so large as they should have been to allow for reduction. The attached engraved scales of centimetres, though also very small, Sir Joseph Larmor finds quite clear and legible and does not think they should be re-engraved.'
