Description'Dear Sir,
I have to acknowledge your letter of the 18th instant stating that you are willing to undertake the investigation of the specimens of the blood of birds, reptiles, &c which Sir David Bruce has sent to the Tropical Diseases Committee from Uganda. Your willingness to undertake this work, upon the conditions stated in the letter from the Royal Society of July 22nd last, will be communicated to Professor Bradford, who is a present away on holiday.'
