TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Leonard Doncaster, The University, Edmund Street, Birmingham
Date22 October 1909
DescriptionThe collotyper has looked at the illustrations in his Gall Flies paper, and thinks it would be well if Doncaster would carry out his suggestion to darken the drawings somewhat, some portions which are now excessively faint. The figures are not redrawn byt photographed direct. When going over them he could square and trim the separate figures, so that they compose into plates. The two plates that were sent in might be made into three plates, each the size of a page of 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'.
