DescriptionSir Joseph Larmor has mentioned that Professor Silvanus Thompson has been enquiring of him about a meeting of the Library Committee. Sir Joseph has therefore asked Harrison to write to Foster and Professor Thompson as to how matters stand regarding Library business. Sending was was written to Thompson [no enclosures]. It would be best to wait until the books have been rearranged downstairs, and until the two Sub-Committees have finished their labours before calling the big Committee together. Hopes to have things in train for starting definitely on the catalogue after November.
