TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Professor Hugh Longbourne Callender, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date1 November 1909
DescriptionSwann's paper on 'The Specific Heats of Air and Carbon Dioxide etc' has been in the author's hands for revision since 30 July. The Physics and Chemistry Committee in February recommended the paper for publication in the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]', subject to revision and condensation to about a half of its original length, and the omission of certain figures as proposed by one of the referees. At a meeting held in July the revised manuscript was considered to not be condensed satisfactorily. It is still in the author's hands for this purpose.
