TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr Sidney Frederic Harmer, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date2 November 1909
DescriptionHarmer may recall that Dr Mitchell, of the Zoological Society, started a movement with a view to securing some common action on the part of scientific societies with regard to the acquisition of Zoological serials in their libraries, and Harmer, as member of the Library Sub-Committee was deputed to confer with other zoologists whom Mitchell had got together for the purpose. Nothing has been heard on the matter, and the revision of the list of serials has been suspended, and the beginning of a new catalogue deferred.

It is desirable that these matters should not be postponed indefinitely, and Harrison would be grateful for any information which could sets their hands free for proceeding with the work.
