DescriptionThe Royal Society has no knowledge of Sir David Bruce's plans for his return from Uganda beyond what was mentioned in Harrisons letter on 24 September. Sending on a copy of Sir David Bruce's letter bearing on this subject [no enclosures]. The question of meeting the expense has not yet come before the Royal Society previously, and he is not aware of any suggestion having been made with regard to any part of it being borne by the Sudanese government.

The question as to the Royal Society making recommendations on the subject under reference will be brought before the Royal Society's Committee on Tropical Diseases at the earliest opportunity.
