DescriptionRelating to their communication of 2 December, enclosing a despatch from the Government of the East Africa Protectorate relating to a Conference held at Nairobi earlier this year to discuss Sleeping Sickness and stock diseases prevalent in the country, Harrison is directed to call attention to the last paragraph in the minutes of the first day's proceedings of conference, and whether it is desired that the Royal Society should take action on the recommendation [to nominate a small Committee for working out the distribution and investigating the causes of disease in man and stock in the Protectorate], or await communication from the Colonial Office.
