TitleCopy letter from John Rose Bradford, to The Under Secretary of State, Colonial Office
Date15 January 1910
DescriptionThe Royal Society has received, under cover from Sir David Bruce, the enclosed letters [no enclosures] from Captain A E Hamerton and Captain H R Bateman, making application for an increase of their pay during the remainder of their services on the Sleeping Sickness Commission, which has been extended for six months. The grounds on which the applications are based seem to merit favourable consideration, as they are working beyond their original term and on a duty which has life endangering elements.
