TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Miss [Marie] Stopes
Date13 October 1909
DescriptionAcknowledges her letter of yesterday, enclosing cheques for the private copies of her and Dr Watson's paper [on 'Coal Balls']. Regarding her assumption these would not be charged for, a formal request for 250 copies to be supplied at her own expense was sent here last year signed by Dr Hoyle on her behalf. The Royal Society has only charged her for 200 out of the 250 because, under the regulations, 100 of the total 300 supplied are furnished gratuitously. If she repudiates Hoyle's power to pledge her credit, Harrison will communicate with him on the matter.
