TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor Sec RS to The Lord Rosse
Date14 April 1910
DescriptionWith reference to Lord Rosse's letter regarding the Trust for the endowment of the Magnetic Observatiory at Valencia, to which Lord Rosse was awaiting the reconstruction of the scheme for the Magnetic Observatories of the United Kingdom and Harrison writes to state that the matter has been carried through. The Gassiot Committee held their first meeting today and on the subject of Lord Rosse's Trust they resolves that they would be willing to undertake the administration of the Trust for magnetic observations at Valencia in case the obligations of that Trust were accepted by the Royal Society.

Therefore the application from Lord Rosse to the Royal Society that they should undertake the Valencia Trust would probably received favourable consideration,
