I have pleasure in remitting, on behalf of the Treasurer of the Royal Society, a cheque for £1. 4. 0, being the subscription (30 francs) to the International Congress of Botany for the two delegates of the Royal Society who wil attend.
The names and titles of these gentlemen are as under:- (1) Robert Kidston, LLD, FRS [Fellos of the Royal Society, 12 Clarendon Place, Stirling, NB. (2) Lieut-Colonel David Praid, FRS, FLS, Director, Royal Botanic Gardens, Kews.
