TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor to [Karl] Pearson
DateMay 3 1910
Description'My dear Pearson,

The reference of your paper states that his points are relative to your methods and are such as you would not be likely to adopt.
He does not fall in with my suggestion that his MS [manuscript] should be sent for your consideration. He remarks that it is open to him to send a paper on the subject after yours has been published: and as I have stated already, his paper will most likely be accepted.
I think this procedure is all quite in order.

P.S I have not sufficiently emphasized that he writes with appreciation of your paper, and regrets that he can not fall in.'
