TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie to Captain Scott
Date2 June 1910
DescriptionGeikie feels he must let Scott know that this morning he heard from Dr [William Napier] Shaw, to whom Geikie sent a copy of the memorandum which Geikie suggested might form a statement in the preface of the Second Meteorological Volume. Dr Shaw makes an objection to more of that Memorandum. Geikie explains Dr Shaw's problems with the memorandum, which includes problems with the positions in the [Tables of Scope] journeys and figures where obtained from.
Geikie asks Scott for the correct information in these cases and apologizes for troubling him.
