Description'Dear Prof Sherrington,
With reference to your proof returned, I am sorry you want the figure accompanying it to be so much altered, because it would involve making a new block an I hardly see how the Society can fairly be asked to bear the cost of that -- about a guinea.
I don't understand you to blame the engravers (Collings) for faulty execution.
In any case we ought to have the original returned for comparison, and in case of another block being ordered.'
