Title | Copy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor C [Charles] S [Scott] Sherrington FRS |
Date | 14 June 1910 |
Description | 'Dear Professor Sherrington, I had your letter of the 9th about Dr J O W Barratt's paper and have laid it before the Secretaries. Unfortunately, the paper having been read, the Statutes do not admit of ti being withdraw. Its natural destiny, if not published in such circumstances, is to be preserved here in the archives. The author, however, may, by leave of the council, have a copy made of his paper if he has not preserved one, with a view to publication elsewhere, and it is in the power of the Council, if they think fit, to let him have any illustrations which he may ask in writing to be returning to him. I therefore hold the paper in abeyance until I hear further from the author or yourself.' |
