TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr H Forster Morley
Date24 June 1910
Description'At the meeting of Council yesterday Morley's letter was read pointing out that their previous meeting they had appointed more delegates of the International Convention that the scheme of the Catalogue permits. The resolution passed at the previous meeting was recinded and the following were nominated to act as delegates at the Convention:- The President [Sir Archibald Geikie], Sir Joseph Larmor and Professor H [Henry] E [Edward] Armstrong.

Harrison asks whether the delegates to the Convention technically national delegates and whether the Royal Society nominations ought to receive conformation by the Government. Harrison thinks that the procedure in 1905 is being relied upon to secure the attendance of the Treasurer and Mr Mitchell asks whether it would not be well to warn Mr Mitchell? The Royal Society Treasurer is already prepared.
