DescriptionHarrison was not surprised to receive Bower's protests about the short notice for yesterday's Committee meeting, which were aggravated by a delay of the post. Harrison writes that the circumstances were exceptional, that his himself is not responsible, and explains why there was such a delay (a delay in hearing from the Chairmans of the Zoology and Botany Committees).
