TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr J L E Dreyer, The Observatory, Armagh
Date8 July 1910
Description'Dear Sir,
I am now sending you a box containing seven packets of Herschel MSS, all we have found so far, and which I hope are the complete set. The number, seven, agrees with the number of series enumerated in Phil[osophical] Trans[actions of the Royal Society] 1864.
Fiver of the packets are labelled "Nebulae". Of the remaining two, one is marking "Sweeps", and the other simple "MSS.
We are sending them by North Wester Railway issued, as they are too heavy and bulky to go by parcel post as you suggest in your letter.
Will you kindly acknowledge receipt as soon as you have examined the packets.'
