Description'Gentlemen,
In reply to your circular note of July 19th. I enclose, as requested, the Allotment Letter in respect of the issue of four per cent. Debenture Stock, and the Bankers' receipt for the amount paid as deposit.
I am to inform you that the Treasurer prefers that the Certificate of Stock to be exchanged for the above documents, should be registered in the name of the Allotee, namely the President, Council and Fellows of the Royal Society; further, that the dividends should be made payable to the order of "The Treasurer of the Royal Society".'
