| Description | 'Dear Dr Glazebrook,
A payment of interest on the Gassiot Fund came in on the 1st of this month. I do not know whether any arrangement has been come to between you and Dr Shaw as to the interpretation of the Minute relating to the payment to the Meteorological Committee of the "income of the Gassiot Fund as from July 1st". If any such arrangement has been agreed upon I shall be much obliged by your letting me know, so that I may know to whom to pay over the interest. If no arrangement has been agreed, I propose to refer the question to the Treasurer of the Society.
It would be convenient if I could be kept informed of any arrangements relating to administrative business affecting the Gassiot Committee connected with the transfers arising out of the new scheme for the management of Kew, as the business of the Gassiot Committee now passes through my hands once more.' |
