The minute of the P & C [Physics and Chemistry] Committee is to the effect that unless an unfavourable report be received from the second referee the paper proceed for publication in the Phil Trans subject to suggestions for abbreviation made by the first referee being adopted by the author.
Will Sir Joseph Larmor please say if the author should now be communicated with? A copy of Prof Poynting's suggestions is enclosed.' [no enclosure]
