Description'Dear Sir,
I have the pleasure to inform you that, acting under the Standing Orders of Council relating to publications, the Secretaries have marked your paper "The determination of the chief correlations between collaterals &c." as suitable for publication in the Proceedings [of the Royal Society]. Before setting the paper up in type however, I am to ask you to be so good as to amend the formulae in accordance with the pencilled note on the title-page. For this purpose I return your Ms [Manuscript].'
