TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Professor F [Francis] W [Wall] Olvier FRS
Date27 September 1910
Description'Paper by Miss Jean White on "The proteolytic enzyme of drosera". Communicated by Dr D H Scott, FRS.
The paper was withdrawn and returned to the communicator in January with a copy of a referee's criticism and a suggestion that when the further experiments mentioned by the referee had been carried out a new paper might be sent in. As will be seen by Prof A J Ewart's letter, the author has repeated the experiments on the lines suggested by the referee and has obtained the same results as before. The paper is now therefore apparently re-communicated in its original form.
Will the Chairman please minute his opinion as to whether the paper should be accepted for the Proceedings [of the Royal Society]? - The estimated cost is £3.'
