I should be very much obliged if you would send me any material or suggestions you can supply for paragraphs on the National Physical Laboratory, the National Experimental Tank, and the Magnetic Observatory, for the Annual Report of the Council of the Royal Society. The Report is now being drafted so that it would be a great convenience if you would let me have any such material as soon as possible.'
