TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Dr C [Charles] Chree FRS
Date5 October 1910
DescriptionReplying to Chree's letter of yesterday, Harrison writes that me know nothing of a meeting of the Gassiot Committee fixed for October 19, no is there anything in the Minute Book. Harrison explains that, under the new scheme, the Gassiot Committee must hold a meeting between September 30 and December 1, and that meetings of the Committee are to be summoned in consultation with the President.
Harrison thinks that Chree will find, with such a widely constituted Committee, to keep strictly to the letter of the law.
The Royal Society are trying to arrange a meeting on the 20th for the Observatories Committee, dealing with Indian Observatories questions.
The Physicalische is published in one annual volume, beginning with the first week in January.
