TitleCopy letter from Joseph Larmor to [Alexander] Scott
Date18 October 1910
Description'My dear Scott,
I have just read your letter re Burt and Usher. But I cannot conclude from it what I am to do about the paper. I will tackle it again on Thursday next, meantime do you think it might be printed, or must the decision to cut it down from about 20 pp. to 8 pp. stand.
I am inclined, in view of your uncertainties as to the nature of their operations and calculations, to print it as it stands, telling them that we would prefer much that they paid more attention to the improvement of the points referred to by the referee.
Could you write again by Thursday?'
