TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Mrs Berkeley
Date22 March 1910
Description'Dear Madam,
Your letter has reached me just as I was about to write on the subject of your son, my answer to your earlier letter having been delayed by the fact that we have only just decided the matter of the vacant clerkship here. We have felt constrained to appoint a young man rather older than your son and did with a years officer experience, because we consider there qualifications necessary for the post that was vacant. If, however, I should hear of any opening for a boy a the beginning of an officer career I will bear your son's name in mind. I return the testimonial send me on his behalf.
