TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to The Secretary, The Royal Academy of Arts
Date3 December 1910
DescriptionPresident and Council would like to express their readiness to lend the Royal Society's portrait of Lord Kelvin for the Winter Exhibition of the Royal Academy of Arts. The painting is not in good condition. The late Sir Orchardson had undertaken to come and inspect it and superintend such treatment as it requires, but unfortunately his illness prevented him from doing so. Before accepting the portrait for exhibition a representative of the Royal Academy of Arts should come and inspect it.
