TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Sir William Ramsay, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date5 December 1910
DescriptionRamsay's request for the re-suspension of Dr Donnan's certificate puts Harrison in a difficulty, for the solution of which he has no precedent. Donnan's certificate has lapsed, but a year ago Ramsay sent in a supplementary certificate. If he wishes this to be re-suspended Harrison cannot refuse to do so, but it is a question of whether he desires the document going around Fellows by itself, as it contains no claim as a candidate. The alternative is to get out a new certificate.
