TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr [John William Watson] Stephens, [Fellow of the Royal Society]
Date19 December 1910
DescriptionA general letter has gone to Major Ross giving general permission for the reprint of the papers he has communicated lately to the Royal Society. Regarding Stephens' statement that his Annals are ready for issue, it was explained to Ross that while a number of papers he communicated would be published before Christmas, some of them could not be out before January, this included the Sleeping Sickness papers by Fantham and Thomson and Ross and Thomson.

The permission to print holds good in the case of Stephens' paper on Morphology of Trypanosomes, which has been published today in 'Proceedings [of the Royal Society]'. Prior publication of the others in Stephens' Annals would be fatal. Asks for precise list of plates and blocks of which he requires prints or electros.
