DescriptionThere are facilities at the Royal Society for showing ordinary lantern slides, at some distance from the screen, by means of the Brookie-Pell Electric Lantern, of Newton's make. There is also a smaller projection hand feed lantern, also Newton's make, suitable for use on the lecture table, close to the screen, adapted for showing slides in vertical position or lying horizontally. There will possibility not be very much time at his disposal, as there are a good many papers which have not yet been published which are down for reading.
