DescriptionPerman's paper on 'The Chemical Action induced by Cathode Rays' was before the Physics Committee at their meeting last Thursday, when it was discussed in the light of reports which had been obtained from referees. The Committee came to the conclusion that publication of the paper would be premature, and they authorised the remarks being sent herewith [no enclosures]. It is in the best interests of the author at this stage to withdraw the paper.
