TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Dr John Allen Harker, Fellow of the Royal Society
Date1 February 1911
DescriptionHarrison will hand Harker's letter to Sir Joseph Larmor when he comes, but it may save him trouble if he states at once that the experiment has already been tried in the past of indicating on a postcard the papers which will be read in title only, and it was abandoned, because objections were frequently taken to it. It should also be remembered that it is not frequently known before the meeting whether the author is present or not, or whether or not the communicator will give an exposition of it.
