TitleCopy letter from Archibald Geikie, to Sir Charles Eliot
Date1 March 1911
DescriptionGeikie now understands the arrangements which he desires should be made. His own feeling, and he thinks it would be that of most members of the Joint Committee, is that Dr Thorpe has complied with the Regulations in submitting reprints of his papers, which furnish the best evidence of the nature and amount of his work during the year. But if the [?] desires to have from some qualified person a plainer and more intelligible description and on the work done by the Sorby Fellow, Geikie feels sure the Joint Committee will raise no objection. There couldn't be a more qualified person that Sir William Tilden.
