TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison, to Arthur Schomberg, Seend, Melksham
Date1 March 1911
DescriptionIn the old Register of the [Royal] Society the name of Dr Meyer Schamberg, a clerical error for Schomberg, appears, but as the date of his election, 1726, is before the introduction of certificates, there is no record of the grounds on which he was elected. The only other thing is an entry in the Journal Book for 24 November 1726 which states that he was proposed by Dr Jurin.
