DescriptionSending a copy of Professor Arthur Schuster's report on Mr Bousfield's paper on the 'Specific heat in water' [no enclosures]. He recommends that the paper be published in the 'Philosophical Transactions [of the Royal Society]' subject to a satisfactory reply being obtained as to the uncertainty of the thermometric scale, and sends these further recommendations. Sir Joseph Larmor has sent a copy of these to Bousfield with the accompanying letter, and wishes Callendar be aware of it.
