TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to Sir Archibald Geikie
Date8 May 1911
DescriptionGeikie's note to Harrison this morning was a huge relief to him since Harrison heard that A Bruce Joy's man had been here [Burlington House] the previous evening to measure the hall for the statue [of Lord Kelvin]. Harrison appealed to Joseph Larmor later on who told him that installing the statue before the May Soiree was out of the question. Mr Joy's response to that was a note and a letter of 5 sheets which Harrison did not have to time to reply to.
