DescriptionBoys' report about ventilation of the Library was laid before the Council and they have glady accepted Boys' offer to carry out the experiment in ventillating the Library. Harrison has already have the windows on the Eastern side made open and the Royal Society are relying on Boys to obtain a suitable fan.
At the same time the Council fell that the general ventilation of the Society's rooms ought to be improved anf have appointed a Committee to this matter, Harrison encloses a copy of their report [no enclosure]. The new Committee consists of Boys, Dr William Napier Shawand Mr Mallock, with the Officers of the Society and has the authority to spend £100. Harrison hopes the Committee will meet before long and hopes that Boys will stay in communication with him regarding experiments.
