TitleCopy letter from Robert William Frederick Harrison to H A Collins, HM Office of Works
Date23 May 1911
DescriptionIn a letter from HM Office of Works Harrison is requested to put himself in communication with Collins with regard to the decoration of Burlington House for the Coronation. The scheme proposed is identical with that which was adopted in 1902 and consists of 14 flags bearing arms of devices of several societies with the union jack in the middle.
Inasmuch as the scheme does not vary from that approved by HM Commissioners of Works nine years ago, it is hoped no objection will be raised to it now. If Collins would like to see a sketch he should communicate direct with Mr Somers Clarke, Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, who is supervising the execution of the decoration.
